UCFB Launches New Degree & Executive Education Programmes

Wed 18th May 2016 | Football Club Management

UCFB is a World First in Higher Education, offering University Degrees and Executive Education in the Football, Sport and Events Industries.

UCFB provides an exceptional environment to live and learn in, with award-winning facilities in three inspirational campuses; the iconic Wembley Stadium, London, the English home of football and sport; the state-of-the-art Etihad Stadium, Manchester, part of the modern Etihad Campus sporting facility, and the historic Turf Moor, Burnley, home of Burnley Football Club.

UCFB is dedicated to the delivery of ground-breaking undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes in the strategic, operational and business facets of the football business and wider sports and events industries. UCFB have developed a profile of pioneering qualifications to enable those working within the industry to drive forward their career, and to provide a gateway for those aspiring to pursue their ambitions of working in the global multi-billion-pound market sector.

These degree programmes give each student the opportunity to study a traditional academic subject within the context of an industry for which they have a genuine passion and interest. Such an approach drives engagement and facilitates achievement.

In addition to the unique degree programmes, UCFB also offer a trademark Complementary CurriculumTM programme of best-in-class executive speakers and exceptional work experience opportunities ensure UCFB students graduate as well-rounded, empowered individuals.

Guest speakers include Jamie Carragher, former Liverpool footballer and Sky Sports Pundit; Peter Salmon, Director England at the BBC; Greg Dyke, Chairman of The Football Association; and Kelly Simmons, Director of The National Game and Women’s Football at The Football Association.

The stellar collection of employability and enrichment services, and unique Complementary CurriculumTM ensure industry-ready graduates enjoy a natural progression into their chosen career. UCFB are proud to announce that an incredible 91% of current graduates are in employment and two in three of those graduates are working within the sports industry.

Many students at UCFB have career aspirations outside of the sport industries and merely wish to learn a traditional academic subject such as a finance degree in the context of something in which they are passionate and have empathy for. Like all things, education is all about motivation and the opportunity for students to read a first rate degree within such an inspirational environment is unique to UCFB.
