Sportdata & Performance Forum Moves to Dublin in November 2016

Wed 27th Jul 2016 | Football Industry Events

From football to rugby and Olympic sport, an increasing reliance on data, science and technology is reshaping the world of sport.

Elite sports organisations, particularly football, are investing heavily in employing sports analysts who play a huge role in player recruitment, nutrition and rehabilitation from injury.

They use video and data to give real-time feedback to coaches and the information they glean and insights gained are aimed at providing teams with a truly competitive edge.

Directors within sporting organisations however cannot be expected to sanction spending on new data analytics and associated technologies without a credible assessment of what the return on such investments might be.

About Sportdata & Performance Forum 2016

The Sportdata & Performance Forum series was established to explore the exciting world of data analytics and how it applies to high performance sport. From predictive insight into wearable technologies, data’s impact on coaching and scouting, performance innovations and how to develop a sport analysis programme and culture within the elite sporting organisation,

Sportdata & Performance Forum provides an opportunity for football organisations to optimise their analytics and performance strategy in an ever increasingly competitive elite sports environment. Following on from 2 successful events which took place in Berlin, the 3rd edition will take place in Dublin, Ireland on 22nd – 23rd November 2016
