Manchester City Hospitality Toasts Awards Success

Mon 7th Nov 2016 | Football Industry Events

Manchester City FC was recognised at The Football Business Awards for its match day hospitality scooping the Best Football Club Hospitality award.

Etihad Stadium was noted for its catering and exacting standards of hospitality for fans, business entertaining and non-match day events.

The Football Business Awards acknowledge and reward the hard work that takes place to support the success of the game. Shortlisted finalists are made up of architects, lawyers, tech companies and caterers. Manchester City’s Etihad Stadium is operated by F3, the stadium catering business of One Event Management,

Neil Worcester, F3’s managing director, said: “The Football Business Awards are known as some of the more aspirational awards there are in the stadium sector and we are truly delighted with the win.

“We set out to challenge and innovate the hospitality offering at Etihad Stadium; we’ve had fantastic guest feedback and to win this award really does draw a line under how F3 is challenging and innovating the stadium sector.”

Caroline McEleney, Manchester City director of hospitality sales, said: “We’re extremely proud to win Best Football Club Hospitality at this year’s awards.

“At Manchester City we pride ourselves on providing unforgettable matchday experiences - so to be recognised by our fellow peers in the industry and to win amongst extremely stiff competition, is a true testament to the dedication and professionalism of the team.

“With exciting plans in the pipeline for next season, we look forward to once again raising the bar and pushing the boundaries of matchday hospitality further.”
