Burnley Football Club were celebrating award success as Sharon Froggatt was named Marketer of the Year at a prestigious awards ceremony.
The success of the Business Hub at Turf Moor has been reflected in a major award, with Sharon Froggatt being named Marketer of the Year at the 2016 Downtown Lancashire Women in Business awards.
Sharon is the club’s New Business Sales Executive and has played a key role in the development of the highly-popular business venue, which is located in a purpose-built facility in the Bob Lord Stand at Turf Moor.
Commenting, Sharon said: “I’m delighted to have received this award, which is really a reflection of the work of the commercial team as a whole in making the Hub such a success.
“The facility is now a major asset to businesses in and around Burnley and we look forward to welcoming more and more members to share in its success by growing their own business interests.”
The Hub, which was opened in January, 2016, offers flexible office space for small and large businesses, offering free wi-fi, printing facilities, break-out rooms and high-quality dining and refreshment provision.
It already has over 100 members, with fees starting from as little as 80p per day.
Earlier this year, the club’s commercial team was named Best Customer Focused Business at the 2016 Downtown Lancashire in Business awards.
