In Focus: Upgrading Your Pitchside Seating Requirements
Fri 20th Jan 2017 | Football Stadiums & Facilities
So you’re looking to upgrade your pitchside seating. Maybe you’re ripe for promotion and you need to meet new FA Ground Grading requirements.
Maybe you’re lucky enough to be building a brand new facility. Or maybe you’d just like to seat more fans, more comfortably.
Whichever way, the simplest and quickest way to get 50, 100, 150 or more tiered, covered seats is Audience Systems’ Premier Grandstand. Premier Grandstands are made up of one or more modules, depending on the size required, which are factory assembled and arrive at your school or club complete and ready to fix down and use.
The grandstands comply with FA Ground Grading requirements, and the seats meet FIFA/UEFA standards. There are a multitude of layout possibilities and options including wheelchair positions, Perspex sides, and a wide choice of colours and finishes.
There’s a great-looking example of the Premier Grandstand at Congleton High School in Cheshire, alongside the school’s brand new 3G artificial turf pitch. With the old pitch having reached the end of its life, the new high-tech surface increases the pitch’s uses, opening it up for football and rugby matches.
It’s a key facility for the school and the wider community, especially through the winter months, and the new stand is the icing on the cake.
Greg DeSouza, Deputy Curriculum Team Leader of PE at Congleton High School said: “We chose the Premier Grandstand because we loved the fact that it just comes down on a crane ready built.
"Audience Systems gave us a more competitive price than other companies we tried, and Carla who sold us the stand was really good from start to finish.
"The process was so quick, and the Audience Systems team were absolutely superb all the way through. Everyone here loves it!”
