New Hashtags Launched For #ElClasico

LaLiga and Twitter have teamed up to give fans watching the El Clasico specially designed emoji hashtags for use on the social media platform.

Offering a unique experience to fans and bringing the action to all four corners of the globe continues to be LaLiga's number one priority.

Ahead of the game, nine new emoji hashtags have been created especially for the occasion.

Three Real Madrid and FC Barcelona players apiece have got the hashtag emoji treatment and the #ElClasico hashtag itself.

Through this initiative, LaLiga fans and football followers around the world will be able to enjoy the match in a fun and unique way, while being connected to one another through the experience that is #ElClasico.

The hashtags are expected to unite football fans across the world, in a match of truly global proportions with different events organised by LaLiga in places such as New York, Greece, Angola and Nigeria.

Through various digital platforms and its official website www.laliga.es, LaLiga will offer all users minute-by-minute coverage as well as a Match Centre, an official platform that provides up-to-date information on the game.
