Leeds United Appoint Former Real Madrid Executive Ivan Bravo

Leeds United has appointed Ivan Bravo to the Club’s Board of Directors with immediate effect.

The former Director of Strategy at Real Madrid, leading on both the sport and business fronts at the Bernabéu, joins the Championship club from his current employers, Aspire Academy in Qatar where he held the role of Director General.

Speaking about his new role, Ivan Bravo, said: “Leeds United is a club steeped in prestige with an extremely proud fanbase and I am thrilled to join the Board of Directors.

“I hope my experience gained across the game will add value for the club and I look forward to working with the ownership, management and the whole team to take Leeds United forward, on and off the pitch.”   

Speaking about the appointment of Bravo, Leeds United Co-Owner, Andrea Radrizzani, said: “On behalf of everybody at Leeds United I would like to welcome Ivan to the club. “He brings to the role a wealth of knowledge and expertise gained from leading roles at the very highest levels of the game. I look forward to working closely with Ivan as the club comes together to build on the progress achieved this season.”

Ivan Bravo will replace Feng Ze Yeh on the Leeds United Board of Directors; the six board members now consist of: Daniel Arty, Ivan Bravo, Massimo Cellino, Niccolo Pio, Barattieri di San Pietro, Andrea Radrizzani and Andre Tegner.
