Mon 8th May 2017 | Football Club Management

Gareth Rogers has announced his intention to stand down as CEO of Southampton Football Club.

The decision was confirmed by the club as he seeks ‘to pursue new opportunities’.

Rogers joined the south coast club in 2011, having previously worked as a senior manager at Deloitte, assuming the role of chief financial officer before becoming CEO in 2014.

A statement released today, read: “The club will be implementing an internal restructure over the coming weeks to ensure we continue to have the right leadership team off the pitch to grow our business and remain competitive in the Premier League.

“Everyone at the club would like to wish Gareth well for the future, and thank him for his six years of service.”
