Eight Major Stadium Venues Join Stadium Experience

Wed 14th Jun 2017 | Football Stadiums & Facilities

Eight major stadium venues have joined Stadium Experience as members in recent months.

The eight clubs include: Arsenal Football Club, Ipswich Town Football Club, Manchester United Football Club, Nottingham Forest Football Club, St. Helens Rugby Club, Swansea City Association Football Club and Ospreys Rugby, as well as the association’s first Irish venue; Croke Park in Dublin.

The newest additions grow the Stadium Experience membership to a total of 53 clubs across the UK and Ireland.

Stadium Experience is a not-for-profit marketing collaboration aiming to promote and market stadium venues for conferences and events.

The organisation was established in 2002 focusing purely on football venues, and evolved in 2013 to welcome rugby stadia venues for the first time.  Some of the activities include; sharing best practice and ideas, joint exhibitions opportunities, meeting event agents as a consortium, regular newsletters, an annual recognitions awards celebration; The Stadium Events & Hospitality Awards and much more.

Speaking of the news Eddie Fairish, UK Head of Sales for Aramark at Croke Park in Dublin, commented: “We are thrilled to be part of Stadium Experience as the first Irish stadium venue.

“We look forward to collaborating with other venues, promoting our Meetings & Events offering and welcoming Stadium Experience members to Croke Park at the end of the year.”

Collette Salmon, Sales Manager at Liverpool Football Club, and Chair of Stadium Experience, said: “In recent years the membership of Stadium Experience has grown significantly.  The stadium venues really value the sharing of best practice and ideas, as well as networking opportunities with event buyers across the country.

“We are very much led by the members so if there are changing markets and new focuses then we prioritise these initiatives. We actively welcome any football or rugby stadium venue who would like to find out more about us, and potentially join our consortium.”
