Wycombe Sign Away Kit Partnership With Utilita

Wed 5th Jul 2017 | Football Sponsorship

Wycombe Wanderers have signed Utilita Energy as their new official away shirt sponsor and official energy supplier.

Utilita have added the Adams Park club to their growing list of partners within football, having developed successful relationships with a number of other clubs including Derby County, Leeds United and Crystal Palace previously.

In the lucrative new sponsorship deal, the Utilita logo will be printed across the front of Wanderers’ new away kit, which is to be launched later this month, while the club will also receive £25 for its community projects for every supporter who switches to Utilita.

Damian Irvine, Head of Commercial Activities at Wycombe Wanderers, said: “Utilita are a rapidly-growing company who are making fantastic progress in the energy sector. “We’re thrilled to be in partnership with Utilita, who share common strong values and strength of character with our other like-minded sponsors and the football club as a whole.

“It’s been a disciplined and committed effort by all involved at Wycombe Wanderers to enter this season in such a positive off-field position.

“Being at a stage where we have two separate  companies with a national footprint on the front of home and front of away shirt is a fair reflection of the club’s reach and brand qualities. It’s a first for Wycombe and certainly not something many EFL clubs can lay claim to.

Jem Maidment, Head of Marketing & Communications at Utilita, said: “Wycombe Wanderers have had a fantastic few years in the limelight, from Wembley to Villa Park to White Hart Lane.

“We want to work with progressive and innovative clubs and Wycombe definitely fit the bill.”

Wycombe’s home kit, sponsored by Beechdean Dairy Ice Cream, will remain the same as in the 2016/17 season, although the club crest will now be embroidered rather than printed.

The white change kit from last season will now become the club’s third strip, sponsored also by Utilita.
