Wolves Sign Thomas Cook Travel Partnership

Thomas Cook Sport, has been unveiled as the Official Travel Partner for Championship club Wolverhampton Wanderers

Thomas Cook Sport will provide the first team and under 21’s with their travel arrangements and services throughout the 2017/18 season, along with the club’s business travel needs, starting with the pre-season training camp to Austria.

Wolves join a long list of clubs’ who work with Thomas Cook Sport to provide travel arrangements for their football operation, including Everton, Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur.

The new partnership has been brought together by Fosun International, the owners of Wolverhampton Wanderers and shareholders of Thomas Cook Group PLC.

Rob Slawson, Head of Thomas Cook Sport, said: “Wolves is a historic club with a huge fanbase so it’s an honour for us, and our partners at Clarity, to provide them with travel arrangements.

“We will deliver our first-class travel service to the team and employees of the club and we’ll ensure our experienced operations team will allow the club to prepare in the best possible way for each and every fixture.”

Wolves Managing Director Laurie Dalrymple said:  “We are delighted to have reached an agreement with Thomas Cook Sport to become our new official travel partner.

“We are always committed to ensuring our partnerships are far more than just a commercial link-up – we strive to bring our sponsors as close to the club as possible and build strong and positive relationships over a long period of time.

“This deal is also of particular benefit in offering the opportunity to work with another of Fosun’s major investments, sharing that synergy of similar values and commitment to achieving excellence.

“Whilst Thomas Cook Sport will be looking after the travel arrangements of our footballing operation, we will also be working closely with them to promote their wide range of services to our supporter base.”
