Who’s the richest of them all?

Leaders in Football, the world’s most exclusive football business event, is pleased to announce joint sponsorship of the annual football “Rich List”.

The Football Rich List will be unveiled to the world’s press on October 7th 2010, Day 2 of the Leaders in Football event, the announcement will be followed by a panel discussion of club owners involving domestic and overseas investors.

Now in its seventh year, the Football Rich List has become a major annual talking point in the world of football. Naming British football’s wealthiest people (owners, investors, players and managers), the list creates huge interest amongst the top figures in the game, the media, and the fans.

With the current state of football finances and 'ownership’ very closely monitored, the list promises to create an intriguing debate around the current investors in football and what the future holds.

Last year’s list saw Lakshmi Mittal, a stakeholder in Queens Park Rangers FC, come out on top of the other 12 billionaires with an estimated worth of £18.4bn. With the announcement less than 10 weeks away, the countdown to No.1 will coincide perfectly with Leaders in Football.
