Huddersfield Town receive international influence!

Fri 4th Feb 2011 | Marketing & PR

25 international students from the University of Huddersfield were in attendance to cheer on the Terriers against Carlisle on Tuesday night.

The overseas students are all final year Marketing students from the University, and visited the Stadium to experience a taste of Huddersfield.

The students hail from a small town in Belgium called La Louviere and are pictured enjoying Town’s 2-0 victory over Carlisle from the Direct Golf Stand.

Luc Stelleman and Serge DeBacker are the student’s tutors from the University, and accompanied the group to the game.

Nadio Granata, Senior Lecturer in Marketing and Year Two Joint Head from the University commented:

"On behalf of the students I would like to give a big thank you to the Commercial department at the Club.

“Their generous hospitality was extremely well received and has added great value to these students' experience of Huddersfield. It's always a pleasure to work with such a great team."

Huddersfield Town’s Commercial Director Sean Jarvis is delighted that the Club was able to offer the students the Huddersfield Town experience:

“The Club is delighted the students enjoyed their night at the Stadium and that they helped cheer us on to another three points.

“We are consistently working hard to offer students and organisations the chance to visit the Club and receive the Huddersfield Town experience.”
