The Grass Roots Football Show is back for 2011 and promises to be bigger and better than ever.

This year’s must attend football event will take place at the NEC in Birmingham on Friday 3rd to Sunday 5th June.

The Grass Roots football family have shown their support since the show launched in 2005 with over 60000 attendees making it is the biggest event of its kind in Europe.

2011 is set to be the biggest yet with the brand new organisers promising more interactivity and insight from a host of the most famous names in football.

Grass Roots Football Director, Joanna Burns, said; “Grass roots football is one of the hottest topics in sport at the moment.

“With major announcements due in the coming weeks, we are planning the most exciting show in the history of the event and we can’t wait to get started.

“The emphasis of the show is focussed on enjoyment, development and interaction and we will have some of the biggest names in football mixing with players, coaches, officials and volunteers from the grass roots game.

“Coach education is a key factor to the wider development of grass roots football in Britain.

“This year we have more coaches, more experts, more players and greater participation and we aim to reinforce the Grass Roots Football Show as the must attend event for coach education and development in the UK.

“We are urging all of the football family to come and get involved, have fun and learn from the very best football people.”

The Grass Roots Football Show is the premier destination for the grass roots football family with leading sports brands, governing bodies, coaches and youngsters attending.

Leading names to appear have included Graham Taylor, Sir Trevor Brooking, Harry Redknapp, Steve McClaren, Ian Holloway, Alan Curbishley, Chris Kamara, Paul Merson,  Peter Shilton, Bryan Robson, Franco Baresi and many others.
