Female leaders in football media and marketing gather for free event to discuss industry.
Some of the best-known female names in football journalism and marketing are gathering for a free networking event next month, and want others in the industry to join them.
The Changing Futures for Women in Sports Media event being held at the University of Northampton will include talks and networking opportunities to promote careers in this wide-ranging industry.
Broadcasters like Hayley McQueen, Lynsey Hooper and Robyn Cowen are joined by award-winning journalists Jen O Neill (SheKicks.net) and Vikki Orvice plus female football marketing executives from near and far to discuss their personal experiences.
As that is going on, schoolchildren from around the region will be getting free masterclasses from top female sports journalists and digital media content creators to encourage them to take the next step onto sports media.
