FIFA have announced the appointment of Thomas Peyer from Switzerland as their new Chief Finance Officer.

Peyer, who takes up his position today (5 September) 2016, joins FIFA from Kuoni Group, where he most recently held the position of Group CFO.

With 25 years’ experience of positions in finance, he has held a variety of senior finance positions at Kuoni Group in Zurich and London, managing teams nationally and internationally.

In addition, he previously worked as a project manager for AXA Winterthur Insurance in Zurich and London.

He holds a degree in Economics and Business Administration, specialising in finance, from the Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW).
