Seven million fans on Facebook and a significant increase in recent months thanks to the content strategy developed by Inter Media House

Inter are continuing to expand and have now reached seven million fans on Facebook. This growth has been achieved by the club as a whole, from the team’s performances on the pitch to the club’s approach in terms of brand positioning. There has been an even greater surge in recent months, with the ‘likes’ flooding in from countries as far-flung as Indonesia, Brazil, the USA and in the Middle East. More than 80% of Inter’s new fans this season have come from outside Italy.

 

The strategy adopted by Inter Media House is driving these results with a greater focus on content in recent months, including new graphics, cutting-edge language and the rebrand of the club’s in-house television company, Inter TV. This move has coincided with greater output in terms of production. There is even more international content, created for publication on numerous platforms.

 

Facebook offers the ideal environment for videos allowing fans to keep a keep a close eye on the football side of things, such as exclusive interviews with Luciano Spalletti before every news conference. Facebook also provides news from the youth academy, glimpses behind the scenes at the Suning Training Centre and extra features from the team such as the Christmas Song. You can even watch live matches from the Primavera or the first team in pre-season friendlies.

 

These improvements in social-media and digital strategies are a clear signal that the club is increasingly becoming a modern entertainment company that puts the fan experience at the heart of everything. #InterIsComing
