Stoke City FC and England goalkeeper Jack Butland has signed with the Triple S Sports & Entertainment Group, who will manage all contractual and commercial matters for the 25-year-old.

Capped nine times by the England Senior Team, the Bristol-born ‘keeper started his career at Birmingham City FC, working his way up through their Academy. He made his first team debut in 2010, the same year winning the club’s Young Player of the Year award. He made the number one jersey his own in the 2012/13 season, playing every game.

A move to Stoke followed in 2014 and after several short-term loan moves he became the Potters’ first choice. Now he is approaching 100 games for the Staffordshire club. Internationally, Butland has played for every England age group from under-16s up. In 2009, at the European under-17 championships, he helped England win the tournament for the first time ever by defeating Spain in the final.

The Triple S Sports and Entertainment Group already work on behalf of Wayne Rooney, Harry Maguire, Angus Gunn and Toni Duggan. All the Group’s clients use the full breadth of the agency’s wide-ranging services.

Jack Butland, Stoke City FC and England goalkeeper, said: “This is a very exciting day in my career and I am thoroughly looking forward to working with Paul Stretford and the Triple S Sports & Entertainment Group. After I met Paul and the group – and saw the services they will be able to provide me – there was no doubt in my mind that they were the ideal organisation to represent me.”

“I am an ambitious player who wants to achieve a lot in his career, I am sure that Triple S will help me to do that. Their track record of managing some of this country’s biggest and best sports stars is second to none. In particular, Bryan Gunn who has a wealth of goalkeeping experience.  It’s good to know I have great people helping me off the pitch because on the pitch I am working hard at Stoke to help get the club back to the Premier League.”

Paul Stretford, Managing Director, Triple S Sports & Entertainment Group, said: “On behalf of everybody at the Triple S Sports & Entertainment Group, I would like to welcome Jack to our organisation. It has been an exceptional team effort, especially by those in our player representation team, to secure one of England’s most talented goalkeepers.

“As is expected when a player of Jack’s quality becomes available, there were many other parties who were interested in representing him, so we are naturally delighted that he felt his future lay with us. Our role now is to ensure that we help Jack to fulfil his career ambitions – a challenge we are very well rehearsed in.”
