Premier Sports Network hosts International Player Care Conference

On Monday 11th November in the heart of London, 30 Euston Square will play host to Premier Sport’s staple event of 2019, focusing on how best to support some of the best known sports starts away from the spotlight of professional sport. The 8th Edition of PSN’s Player Care Conference is set to more than double in size to over 350 guests from across the world of professional sports clubs, governing bodies, federations and agencies.

The event has bench-marked itself as the world’s number one event for trusted advisers in elite-level sport to attend and learn about managing and guiding the careers of high-profile sports stars, by driving education on private matters that are sometimes left unspoken.

This year, the event format will change, including a VIP dinner for 50 people the night before the conference, interactive breakout sessions; that really dissect the different aspects of player welfare and better understand roles and responsibilities, networking breaks and PSN’s new networking app that aims to maximise the sharing of best practice.

CEO’s, Sporting Directors, Player Liaison Officers, Academy Directors and some of the biggest agents in the world will attend PSN’s Player Care event, which provides the perfect meeting hub for industry leaders to share best practice with counterparts as they learn new ways of how to provide best-in-class support which enables athletes to focus on what they do best; performing on the big stage.

The delegates and line-up of guest speakers at last year’s International Player Care Conference carries considerable clout, as a wide range of high-profile stars were in attendance from a raft of different sports. There were representatives from 25 top-flight clubs and 17 from further down the pyramid, as well as members of the hierarchy at the likes of Paris Saint-Germain, Formula 1, England Rugby, Jacksonville Jaguars, the World Boxing Council (WBC) and around 20 top agencies across football, rugby, golf, boxing, motorsport and more; all recognising a duty of care for professional athletes.

A stone throw from London Euston Station, 30 Euston Square boasts a 350+ seater auditorium and open plan networking space, providing the perfect stage for the International Player Care Conference as it expands in size and welcomes some of the most reputable sports organisations across the world to take part in networking sessions, intimate and interactive workshops and to hear from PSN’s VIP guest speakers on the dedicated topic of player welfare in sport.
