Swedish football club AIK launches the Infinity card – a lifetime season ticket.

Swedish football club AIK, who won the national championship for the 12th time, has launched a new loyalty card which gives fans the chance to buy a season ticket that lasts a lifetime.

Well ahead of the new season which kicks off in Sweden in April 2019, the club has released its season tickets for the season ahead.

The club’s new Infinity Card is a season ticket that’s valid for as long as its owner lives. The cost of the lifelong season ticket is 189 100 Swedish kronor (£16,300), a symbolic flirt with the club’s founding year of 1891.

AIK achieved an all-time high in total numbers of spectators in one single season (23 664 spectators on average) as well a record 50,128 in a single home game.

“We’re proud to welcome people of all ages, occupations and backgrounds to our stands,” said Fredrik Söderberg, Marketing Director at AIK Football.

“As a celebration to this commitment, we’ve created the Infinity card. Even though it might not be a bestseller, it’s an important reminder that AIK is always there for you, no matter what.”
