Swiss watch maker and official timekeeper of the Premier League, TAG Heuer took the opportunity to present the TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 Manchester United Special Edition on the final day of the season.

Worn on the wrists of the team’s players before the match, the eleven watches will be sold-off during charity auctions, the proceeds of which will be donated to the Manchester United Foundation.

As the Official Timekeeper for the Premier League and Manchester United, TAG Heuer was present to support the #allredallequal campaign, an initiative launched by the club to promote equality, inclusion and diversity at the heart of football clubs, in all areas, both on and off the pitch.

Manchester United has developed numerous programmes to help the club create an environment that is safe, welcoming and open to all Old Trafford supporters, regardless of their age, gender, religion and disability.

In support of the #allredallequal campaign, the watchmaker presented the first connected watch: the TAG Heuer Connected Modular 45 Manchester United Special Edition, created as a symbol of its pledge to encourage equality and diversity within football.

The eleven pieces with a special black/white/red strap were developed for the occasion, to be worn by Manchester United players during the pre-match line-up; marking the first time a football team from the English Premier League has worn a watch during a line-up.

The eleven pieces will then be sold at events organised by the brand. Three of the pieces will be auctioned on Monday 28th May on TAG Heuer’s website, www.tagheuer.com. All proceeds will then be donated to the Manchester United Foundation who supports the Club’s #allredallequal campaign.
