Aberdeen Partner With Jonas Sports To Innovate EPOS & E-commerce Platform
Jonas Sports and Aberdeen Football Club have announced a new partnership to provide cutting-edge EPOS and eCommerce solutions tailored specifically for the unique needs of the club.
Aberdeen FC’s Head of IT and Digital, David Bowman, said of the partnership: “We are delighted to partner with Jonas Sports Retail for our EPOS and eCommerce operation.
“After undertaking a comprehensive tender process over the last 18 months, it became evidently clear that Jonas Sports Retail is the market leader.
“Their knowledge and experience in supporting Football Club retail operations, coupled with the capability of their all-in-one EPOS and eCommerce platform, already geared toward our mature integration needs, will ensure that we drive efficiencies, grow revenues, and deliver a best-in-class experience to our supporters.
“The agreement builds on the existing provision of F&B EPOS from Jonas Sports (MCR), which we introduced across the stadium in 2021 with our Catering Partner Baxter Storey.”
Aberdeen’s Head of Retail, Jason Hill, added: “Jonas Sports has been amazing to work with on this project. They were professional from the start of the tender process and continued with their ‘customer-first’ approach all the way to the successful launch of our new EPOS and e-Commerce Platform.
“Usually, change of this magnitude causes all sorts of upheaval, but under Sam’s project management and Chris’s training schedule, they ensured we launched on time with a knowledgeable and equipped crew to operate the new system. The care and attention given after the systems were in place was first class.”
Sam Nixon, General Manager of Jonas Sports, said: “We at Jonas Sports are thrilled to embark on this journey with Aberdeen Football Club.
“This partnership represents a significant milestone for both organizations, demonstrating our shared commitment to delivering exceptional service and innovation.
“We look forward to a prosperous collaboration and the mutual growth it promises.”
