As the Marketing Manager for the Juventus Academy London, Bastian Hildebrand ensures the camps gain the right coverage to support the club’s development plan in their bid to unearth the next Pablo Dybala.
The BA (Hons) International Football Business graduate helps to run the Academy’s website and social media channels, showcasing the work the coaches do with youngsters in the capital, all of whom aspire to one day pull on the famous black and white kit of the Old Lady.
On his role with Juventus, Bastian said: “We’re scouting players with the goal being to find a player in the next few years who can then move to Turin and hopefully make it all the way there. Home grown players are what fans always desire, but if they come from another country then even better because you can then build a fan base in that country as well.”
Away from Juventus, Bastian is also the Chief Marketing Officer and Co-founder at Tify – a social media monitoring tool that analyses sentiment and emotion behind social media posts.
