Atletico Madrid The First Club In The World To Receive Access Champions Certification
Atlético de Madrid has become the first football club in the world to achieve Access Champions certification, awarded by AccessibAll, which recognises the level of accessibility and promotes the integration of the club as an entity and stadium.
AccessibAll aims to support the improvement of accessible facilities and services in stadiums across Europe, as well as raise awareness about access and inclusion.
The Access Champions standard assesses categories related to infrastructure accessibility, matchday services for fans with disabilities, digital accessibility, support for football for people with disabilities, fan engagement and community building, and leadership and awareness in the disability space.
This recognition highlights the work Atletico has carried out to integrate people with disabilities in all areas and helping establish a roadmap for further improvement to ensure the full integration of people with all types of disabilities, both at the club and stadium levels.
