Barnsley Football Club has announced a unique collaboration with Geddit which will see the UK’s first ever digital gamification event for the Sky Bet Championship fixture against Brentford at Oakwell on April 28th.

The event accessed through the Geddit app will see fans given the opportunity to win prizes live with a pr-event open now across the UK.

 

 

Barnsley Commercial Manager, Ian Leech said: “We are very excited to be working with Geddit.  We are always open to trying new ways to engage with our fans and followers, and very much look forward to seeing how a simple yet appealing application like Geddit will resonate with Reds both across the UK and at our stadium.

 

“Through the downloadable app, we are offering prizes to our fans across the UK that we know they will love! We will run a pre-event period from Saturday (21st) until the 28th of April, giving away a number of fantastic prizes such as season tickets, signed boots and match tickets in the process.”

 

Sales Officer Gard Edna of Geddit is just as enthusuastic about the prospect: “We are very excited to do our first event test in the UK with Barnsley FC. As we are moving towards the global launch of Geddit, it is of high importance to us to get the ball rolling with event tests such as this.”
