Cambridge United Begin Search For New Shirt Sponsor
Cambridge United have begun the search for a new front of shirt sponsor after confirming BrewBoard will be stepping down at the end of the 2023/24 season after two years.
The partnership, which has seen the local brewery become an integral part of the club’s matchday experience, will continue as the Official Matchday Fan Zone sponsor.
The agreement will see them support live matchday music and half-time activities in the same fashion as this season, with their locally crafted beers continuing to be available around the stadium.
Head of Commercial, Neil Rowe, said: “On behalf of everyone at Cambridge United Football Club, I would like to thank BrewBoard for their time as front-of-shirt sponsor.
“It has been great to work with a local brand who have been fan focused and allowed us to develop our matchday experience.
“With change now brings opportunity and we will continue our search for a new sponsor who will be able to create history by being on the very first shirts with the club’s new identity, which will be used from next season.
“We are seeking a brand that aligns with our values and wants to play a part in our exciting journey, whilst wishing to be a part of the city of Cambridge.”
Oliver Pugh, BrewBoard Director, added: “It’s a massive honour for BrewBoard to be on the front of the Cambridge United shirt, and there is still a long way to go with BrewBoard as front of shirt sponsor this season.”
