Castle Stage Hire & Crowdguard Deliver Full HVM Solution

When Castle Stage Hire partnered with us at Crowdguard, their goal was to ensure that any traffic management solutions they supplied alongside their expert staging services did not just tick a box but also provided a tailored Hostile Vehicle Mitigation (HVM) solution for any event organisers they worked with. 

By partnering with us at Crowdguard, Castle Stage Hire sets themselves apart from other events and traffic management companies, who often see HVM as a ‘bolt-on’ service.

Instead, Castle Stage Hire recognises the importance of working with HVM specialists at Crowdguard to ensure that crowd safety is of the highest priority. As HVM specialists, we provide Castle Stage Hire with the equipment and training they need to deploy physical HVM barriers for smaller events.

For larger events, we work with them to provide additional resources such as risk assessments, HVM design and specialist HVM supervisors. By doing this, Castle Stage Hire’s clients have the peace of mind that comes with knowing that their event security is in safe hands.

Working together at the NFL

To protect the game day crowds at a recent NFL event in Dublin, we provided Castle Stage Hire with the additional support needed to ensure a full HVM solution was implemented.

Sending over one of our supervisors to assist with quality assurance, marking out, and deployment, we supplied a number of ATG Surface Guards to be installed in 7 locations. They included authorised vehicle access units and vehicle access extension plates which allowed roads to be reopened to general traffic outside of event times.

We also supplied Castle Stage Hire with additional Husson H-Stops, which were installed in 2 further locations. This allowed authorised vehicle access where a quick deployment was required and also allowed roads to return to normalcy quickly after the event.
