Charlton Athletic Football Club has announced a partnership with RSK which will help the club become more environmentally sustainable.

The five-year deal will see RSK, a global group of environmental, engineering and technical services businesses, become the club’s official sustainability partner.

Charlton will utilise RSK’s expertise as the club look to make its practices and processes more sustainable. As part of the deal, RSK’s logo will feature on the front of the club’s home shirt from the start of the 2022/23 season.

Charlton Athletic Commercial Director, Wayne Mumford, said: “We are delighted to partner with RSK and proud to have them on the front of our home shirts next season.

“As a football club we want to make changes to improve the impact we have on the environment and RSK, with all their experience, knowledge and expertise, will be a key part of our journey.”

Alan Ryder, founder and CEO of RSK, added: “Charlton are a brilliant football club, both on the pitch and in the community, so I am thrilled to see RSK entering this partnership with them.

“Over the next five years, we will work very closely with the club as they look to accelerate their sustainability journey. Together with the club, fans and other partners, I believe we can propel Charlton to a leading position in the sustainability league tables.”

Charlton Owner, Thomas Sandgaard, said: “We are really pleased to partner with RSK. International growth is a very important part of my plans for the club – RSK have offices and clients all around the world which will help us introduce a wider audience to Charlton.

“The partnership will also help us with our growth in the UK. We have incredible supporters and to help us on our journey, we want to reach new fans and our partnership with RSK, and the work they support us with, will help us engage young people when we’re going into schools, universities and our local community.”
