Commercial/Marketing Directors and Heads of Ticketing from over 40 football clubs in the English Premier League and Football League have confirmed their attendance at this September’s Premier Sports Network event, The Fan Experience seminar.

These influential football executives will join a mix of sporting rights-holders, venue operators, fan engagement specialists and representatives from digital technology companies to debate the best platforms, and strategies, to connect with fans in a meaningful and rewarding way.

The one-day, invite-only event – taking place at the Royal Garden Hotel in London on September 2 – has become a fixture in the calendar of anyone working in the area of fan engagement.

Confirmed speakers include Ian Ritchie (CEO of the English Rugby Football Union), Rufus Hack (Head of Media, Digital and Strategy at golf’s European Tour), James Ralley (Head of Marketing and Commercial at the All England Lawn Tennis Club) and Tomos Grace (Head of Sport at YouTube).

There is also a strong football flavour, with Ben Ladkin (General Manager at Arsenal Media Group), Scott McLeod (Head of Content at Everton), Simon Hunter (Head of Venue and Brand at Cheslea FC) and Eric Solem (Director of Ticket Sales and CRM, AS Roma) all discussing how they maximise their connection with fans, both emotionally and commercially.

“With the Fan Experience seminar we have not only ensured some of sport’s leading names are on stage sharing their knowledge and expertise, but that the room is filled with like-minded commercial executives looking to turn theories and best practice into action,” said David Bull, Executive Director of the Premier Sports Network.

“At previous Premier Sports Network events we have had delegates leave with business cards in one hand and a notebook full of new ideas in the other, and we hope that will be repeated at The Fan Experience seminar.”
