Destination Sport Group Announce Acquisition Of Sportsworld
Specialist sports travel group Destination Sport Group have announced the acquisition of Sportsworld.
Founded in 1980, Sportsworld specialise in the design and delivery of international hospitality and travel programmes for sponsors, corporations, spectators, and governing bodies at major international events such as Olympic Games, FIFA World Cup, UEFA Champions League and The Championships, Wimbledon.
As the official travel partner to The FA, Sportsworld are responsible for arranging travel programmes for England national men’s and women’s teams including recent major tournaments in Qatar and Australia and New Zealand.
Sportsworld are also officially appointed by Manchester City FC, delivering supporter travel for European competitions plus official ticket and hotel breaks for all home fixtures.
The Sportsworld business will continue to be led by Managing Director Nathan Wilson.
