EasyBet Launches New Sports Betting Site In UK

The way in which we bet on football has seen many changes in recent years. Probably more than the average Premier League side makes for a Carabao Cup game. The UK gambling industry continues to expand and easyBet.net are the latest company to offer their services.

EasyBet.net is the latest offering from the easyGroup which is run by Sir Stelios Haji-Ioannou, They already offer everything from airlines to internet cafes and retail services. Now they have worked with Matchbook to create this new sports betting site.

The new sports betting site was launched at the beginning of October. Speaking about the launch Sir Stelios said that easyBet “easyBet offers peer-to-peer betting with the aim of giving customers fairer odds than traditional bookmakers.”

This is the latest new site to enter the UK gambling market. Digitain and Betano have also opened up in the UK this year. American company BetMGM also expanded their business and began operating in the UK towards the end of last year. They enter an industry that is likely to see reform take place in the future.

This has been talked about for several years, especially in terms of the online side of the industry. There is criticism of the bonuses offered by gambling sites and the number of advertisements seen at football matches.

When you want to place bets on football, it is advisable to join more than one online site. That way you can take advantage of all the different odds and bonuses that are offered by the large number of online sports betting offers in the UK as per offersbet.co.uk.

If for example you want to bet on a Premier League game between Manchester City and Arsenal, then not all the available sites will offer the same odds. One site may have a special offer on the match and have enhanced odds.

Maybe they might have an offer of a free bet if a certain player scores a goal. It’s always a good idea to take a look at several sites and keep a very close eye on their promotions page. You really don’t want to miss out on any special offers that are made.

The CEO of Matchbook is Malcolm Graham and he’s delighted with the new partnership with the easyGroup. His company is renowned for its betting exchange product and this is a different way in which gamblers can place bets on football.

With a betting exchange, it’s not a case of the bookmaker v the gambler. Instead, it’s player v player as they can back or lay the results they believe will occur. Placing a ‘back’ bet could in our example match see you betting on City to beat Arsenal.

With a ‘lay’ bet though, you are placing a wager on something not to happen. For example, Erling Haaland not scoring in the match. Well it has to happen sometimes doesn’t it? If that happens then your bet is a winning one but not very good news for Fantasy Football players.

In the past, there were few markets available for football matches. Gamblers were restricted to who would win or whether the game would end in a draw. Now there are well over 100 markets available for football matches.

You can bet on everything from who will score the first or last goal or anytime in the match. How many corners will there be in a football match or the number of yellow or red cards handed out by the referee.

It’s noticeable that many of the markets now available to players don’t require you to predict the end result of a match. That’s very useful in a match such as Manchester City v Arsenal where the final outcome is not that easy to predict.

With the ability to place bets on football matches played around the world, betting on the sport we love has never been so exciting. Whatever the time of day or night, online sites will have live betting opportunities. Gambling responsibly is so important as is carrying out some research on the football matches you wish to place bets on.
