The EFL has extended its partnership with Thai Airways, which will see the airline have rights across all of the EFL’s five Finals.

The renewed agreement will see Thai Airways have prominent digital and in stadia presence across the EFL’s Finals at Wembley Stadium; Carabao Cup, Checkatrade Trophy, Sky Bet Championship, League One and League Two Play-Off Finals.

Last season’s Finals were attended by more than 288,000 people and broadcast in over 190 territories to hundreds of millions of people worldwide, driving awareness of the EFL’s flagship competitions on a national and international stage.

As well as the scale of the EFL helping to drive awareness of their brand, Thai Airways will also have access to VIP tickets for fan competitions as they increase their digital and social media engagement in the UK and internationally.

The extension of the partnership is a product of the EFL’s work with brands internationally to help showcase EFL competitions and sponsors on a global stage.

EFL Chief Executive, Shaun Harvey, said: “The international market is increasingly important for the EFL, as we look to raise the profile of the League, our Clubs and the unique excitement and drama of EFL competitions on a global stage.

“Our international television deals alongside streaming platform iFollow, continue to provide international supporters with ever more opportunities to follow the EFL wherever they are in the world.

“The relationship with Thai Airways will help to provide the airline with a unique opportunity to have a presence at all of our showpiece Finals, starting with the much anticipated Carabao Cup Final at the end of the month.”

Thai Airways President, Mr. Sumeth Damrongchaitham, said: “We are pleased to announce Thai Airways will continue to be an Official Supporter of the EFL, this partnership is a wonderful opportunity to connect with football fans from all corners of the world. We very much look forward to strengthening our ties with England through this partnership.”
