FIFAe, Curaçao & Football Manager Launch Community Challenge

As the FIFA World Cup 2026 gets set to kick-off this evening (10 June) with an expanded 48 teams, a wave of newcomers will take to the biggest stage in football.

Among them is Curaçao who arrive as the smallest qualified nation and, arguably, the truest underdog of all.

To celebrate this unique story, FIFAe, Curaçao and Football Manager are introducing the “Curaçao Challenge”, a competition for all Football Manager players to take the Caribbean nation as far as they can using the FIFA World Cup integration in the game.

At the end of the challenge, the most successful manager will be rewarded with a once in a lifetime experience, taking them to Curaçao to connect directly with the local football culture. Together with renowned Football Manager creator “Zealand”, the winner will travel to Curaçao and meet the team at the nation’s football facilities.

Participants can visit FIFA.GG to download a custom-built save file. From there, it’s up to each manager to shape their journey, make key decisions, and push the limits of what this emerging football nation can achieve at the biggest FIFA World Cup to date. 

Each player can share their best result on social media using #FIFAeCuracaoChallenge and upload their save file to FIFA.GG for a chance to win a trip to Curaçao. To ensure integrity, only FM26 (PC/Mac) players are eligible to participate.

The challenge runs from 09 June until 27 June with the winner being announced at the end of July via FIFA.GG and the FIFAe social media channels.
