Fulham Football Club welcomes Western Union as its Official Foreign Exchange Transfer Partner for two seasons.

The Western Union Company, a global leader in cross-border, cross-currency money movement, has signed an agreement with Fulham Football Club to provide foreign exchange services to the Club through Western Union International Bank GmbH.

The new partnership will allow Fulham FC to benefit from the Western Union International Bank’s expertise when dealing with a number of transactions involving foreign currency, including cross-border payments.

Fulham Football Club, London’s oldest club located in South West London on the banks of the River Thames, was promoted back to the Premier League last May after a four-year absence.

United Kingdom Head of Foreign Exchange Services David Prendeville, said of the partnership: “We are honoured to unite our payments expertise and experience along with the storied history and tradition of the Fulham Football Club to aide in its growth and future success.”

Casper Stylsvig CRO of Fulham FC added: “We welcome Western Union International Bank, a global leader in cross-currency management, to our growing list of Club partners. We are excited to be working with a partner with huge experience and knowledge of working within many territories worldwide. We look forward to developing this partnership further.”

In addition to allowing Fulham to be confident in their foreign exchange and payment services when looking to do business with clubs overseas, the collaboration will provide Western Union International Bank unique access to businesses within Fulham’s Business Club network.

This will give organisations within this network a unique opportunity to hear about the services at Western Union International Bank and hopefully grow and succeed by learning how to move currency internationally in more efficient and strategic ways.
