Fanbase are an innovative Scottish start-up that deliver mobile ticketing and excellent fan experience for sports clubs via both mobile and web.

Greenock Morton Finance Director, Michael Harkins, said of the partnership: “We are delighted to be announcing our new partnership with Fanbase and excited as to the opportunities this will provide the club and our supporters.

“The Fanbase technology is cutting edge and we can’t wait to start working with Ali and his team on the roll-out plan.

“We are fully aware that the ticketing system has caused supporters difficulties in recent seasons and this is an important step towards improving the experience for everyone coming to games.

“This is the first of a number of initiatives we’ve been working on that we believe will improve our fan experience and has been made possible thanks to the incredible backing of supporters through ongoing MCT contributions.”

Alasdair Crawley, CEO and Co-founder of Fanbase, added: “Morton at it’s heart is a community club. It’s going through a huge positive transformation to grow the club and to better serve the local community. The journey they have embarked on is remarkable.

“By selecting Fanbase, Ticketing, Commercial, Media and the board will now be connected by one platform, Fanbase a next generation software which will enable Morton to drive forward their revenue, understand their fans and keep track of their revenue performance with the click of a button. All this whilst unlocking communication channels they’ve never had before to connect with their fans wherever they are.

“This is what we exist to support and we’re very proud to begin our journey with this iconic Scottish club.”
