Hibernian Installs State-Of-The-Art Big Screens At Easter Road

Hibernian Football Club have installed new state-of-the-art LED big screens at their Easter Road stadium.

As the Scottish Premiership club continues to develop both on and off the pitch, the latest upgrade to their home will make them a leader in Scotland for supporter matchday engagement.

Through the use of the screens, installed by LED digital display specialists ADI, the club aims to enhance the experience of supporters inside Easter Road by providing them with a pre-match video offering and a live feed of the game. The video content will develop week on week and in-game replays will eventually be introduced.

The screens are situated in the corners of the East Stand, with two smaller screens and digital scoreboards inside the East Stand.

Enhancing the matchday experience through the use of big screens was one of Executive Hibernian Chairman, Ronald J Gordon has sought to constantly innovate and create the best experience for supporters since he took over the club, stating: “We’re delighted to have fulfilled an early promise and ambition of ours by installing four top of the range screens at Easter Road.

“We’re really passionate about increasing supporter engagement and making sure that supporters have the best possible experience when they visit us on a matchday; these screens will certainly be a major part of that.

“The installation of the screens shows that we continue to move forward as a football club, and we are always looking to innovate.

“We’d also like to thank ADI for their work with us. Over the last 18 months we’ve worked incredibly close together to make sure the screens worked at Easter Road from a technological and structural point of view.”

The two main screens are 59m² in size and the two inside the East Stand are 15m² in size.

The club will continue to work with ADI who will provide a full matchday content service, which will be delivered via broadcast fibre direct from ADI’s Preston-based Live Venue galleries.
