Is The Change Good?
Depending on how you look at it, the Premier League banning betting sponsors is a good change and pushing football in the right direction. Even if you love betting, you have to understand that some people have gambling addictions and seeing a constant reminder on their team’s shirts may be unhealthy for them.
However, the large sponsor being removed is good but the clubs will still have betting sponsors through the ground and, sometimes, still on their shirts. It feels like a small change that will snowball into a bigger one down the line.
