Hull City Extend Umbro Kit Partnership

Hull City have announced the extension of the club’s partnership with technical kit supplier Umbro by another year.

The initial one-year extension will cover the 2022/23 season as the club continues to navigate and assess the impact of Brexit and the Covid-19 pandemic.

The sportswear manufacturer first joined forces with the Tigers in 2007 and have provided the club’s kits continuously since 2014.

Spanning 11 seasons, the collaboration has covered four Premier League campaigns, two Championship promotions, two Wembley victories and a first league title in 55 years.

As well as producing the club’s bespoke home, away and third kits, Umbro will continue to manufacture all training and sportswear collections for players, staff and supporters.

Joe Clutterbrook, Hull City’s Chief Commercial Officer, said: “We are thrilled to be continuing our existing excellent relationship with Umbro, who have provided us with products to a consistently high standard over the last seven years.

“All three of this season’s kits have been wonderfully well received and we are excited to see what innovative and adventurous designs they come up with next.”

Sam Lucas, Director of Sports Marketing at Umbro, added: “We’ve enjoyed some great memories with the club over the years, providing fans with lasting memories and iconic jerseys, so we’re really proud to be extending our relationship.

“Our design teams have been working collaboratively in the background alongside the club to ensure we once again deliver fit for purpose products for players, staff and fans for the 2022/23 season.”
