WEST HAM UNITED

West Ham United moved from Upton Park to their new 55,000 seat Stadium at Stratford in 2016. The move signalled a step up for the club both on and off the field. As part of the retail and commercial growth strategy, WHU appointed 442 to design a high volume retail and catering experience that works on both match day and non match days. The new store is over two levels and floorspace is approximately 15,000 square feet. Starting with an empty shell and core unit, 442 designed from concept planning and layout of all areas to all detailed and construction drawings, lighting, graphic design and specification. The store opened in August 2016 to record breaking sales. 442design.com/work/west-ham-fc/
