I’m a young footballer and have just secured my first contract. I want to buy a car, can you help me?  
 
RB Prestige specialise in getting young footballers on the right track from deal one. We carry out education presentations to many clubs and work alongside club Player Liaison Officers, welfare heads and parents to make sure we’re providing the right advice. We have long-standing partnerships with trusted stakeholders, such as insurance providers, whom we know are able to offer consistent, efficient and thorough support to our clients. We frequently supply youth team players with their first cars, and by providing a complete finance, insurance and vehicle package it enables them to concentrate on their career. When necessary, we also work and meet with parents to ensure that their hard-working son or daughter is in the right hands from the off. 

 

 

But I want a Range Rover… 
 
We will advise a client if we believe that a particular deal or choice is not the right one for them going forward. That could potentially lose us a deal but we’d rather that than be the one that contributed to unnecessary or high-risk choice for the client. Of course, the choice is entirely theirs but we’re here to provide them with good, critical advice so they can make an informed decision. 

 

 

So how do I get the best deal?  
 
We work with each client to understand their individual needs, so that we can tailor deals to suit their budget, contract length, car requirements and annual mileage requirements. This is crucial because a deal can look better due to lower monthly payments, generated entirely by using an annual mileage that is way too low, for example. This can cause negative equity when it comes to changing the car and can potentially incur heavy costs that could easily have been avoided. 
 

What’s best for me – a new or used car? 
 
New and used cars are available through RB Prestige. We don’t add profit on profit, instead we negotiate the best price for the client and present them with a deal with no hidden fees or anything else to pay…there are certainly no admin fees to RB Prestige. We don’t offer any incentives to agents or partners either, purely because we believe this detracts from the client getting “the best deal”. 
 

Do you deliver? 
 
We personally deliver every vehicle to our clients across the entire UK, where possible. When needed, we can arrange a transporter for the vehicle too. But, when we can, we like to bring, present and hand over the vehicle to the client ourselves to continue the trusted relationship. 
 

Do you provide an after-care service? 

Where possible, we will always utilise our relationships with manufacturers to supply a car that has a full-service history, complete mileage checks and a comprehensive warranty that offers full peace of mind to the client. Our used cars will have a minimum six-month warranty, extending where necessary, and at the request of the client. Of course, we remain the point of contact, handling anything from chipped windscreens, to servicing; we’re even on hand 24-hours a day to assist with anything out of the ordinary, from punctures to car park dents and more. 

 

I want my car customised – can you do this?  
 
We provide a full range of customisation options through our trusted network of suppliers which includes vehicle wraps, window tints, alloy wheel refurbishments and more. Just tell us how you want the car to look like and we can do the rest. 

 

Can you work with the club, so they understand my purchase?  

We want to help the club feel at ease that their players are being looked after, even when they go ahead and sort things out themselves. It can often be frustrating when the new, young signing arrives at the car park in a bright red £180,000 Porsche. RB Prestige will have these chats with the young players beforehand and educate them on how their car choice can affect their image at work and in the eyes of the general public. 

 

We want to work with the player and the club. No stone is left unturned from how the club would like the car supplied, to considering the length of the player’s contract, whether they are a loanee or on a permanent contract, to the manager’s policies or even if the car might induce a hamstring injury! We really do have the expertise and knowledge to advise players properly, keeping one eye firmly on the future and any unexpected circumstances, as well as the expected ones. 

 

In addition to our showroom and sourcing facility, we have valued contacts at the likes of Mercedes, VW, Audi and Jaguar Land Rover, to name just a few, whereby we can source the best products and packages possible for everyone from the first team to the academy.  

 

We really are only interested in getting players off to the right start with their car purchasing by managing their expectations and requirements throughout, and not leaving them in any precarious financial situation as they enjoy and progress through their career.
