The club registered 1.5 billion fan engagements and was the most engaged club across the Premier League during the 23/24 season.

Figures from Blinkfire at the end of January 2025 sees the club build on this this trend as they lead engagements in the Premier League across all major social media platforms including Facebook, Instagram, Threads, X, TikTok and YouTube. This is 200m engagements ahead of its nearest Premier League rival across all platforms.

December 2024 saw the club’s biggest month for follower growth on social media so far this season with 3 million extra followers across all platforms, bringing the total amount of global followers across its men’s and women’s social channels to over 200 million.

While earlier this year, LFC reached 11 million subscribers on YouTube, after receiving the Diamond Play Button back in May 2024 for reaching 10 million subscribers on the channel – the first in the Premier League club to reach this milestone.

The club continues to see this increase in engagements due to its highly creative and original organic content along with its matchday, behind-the-scenes content featuring the men’s and women’s team.

The club is also the most-watched team in the Premier League so far this season as Liverpool continue to break global audience records.

Updated independent data released recently by Nielsen revealed the club reached a cumulative TV audience of 171.6 million viewers, more than any other in the division, across their Premier League fixtures played between August to November 2024.
