Liverpool FC have today announced they will be screening a live 360° view of this evenings Huddersfield Town friendly, offering fans a unique and fully immersive viewing experience.

 
The Club will stream tonight’s match live from John Smith Stadium at 7.45pm via YouTube using a 360° camera that will allow users to control the view of the camera from the halfway line and look around the field of view or behind at the fans. The stream will also be accompanied by live LFCTV audio commentary.

 
Matthew Baxter, Chief Media Officer, Liverpool FC said: “We are excited to be able to offer our fans this experience, which is a Premier League team first. Being able to view the match in full 360° will give our fans from all around the world the closest feeling to being there in the stands cheering on the team.”

YouTube supports live streaming playback of 360 degree videos on computers in Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer and Opera browsers.

 
360 degree playback is also supported in the YouTube and YouTube Gaming apps for Android and iOS.

 
LFCTV and LFCTV GO, is the only place for fans to watch all pre-season games, with fixtures against Barcelona, AC Milan, Roma and Mainz, plus the chance to see summer signings in action for the first time.
