Inter Milan has announced a partnership with Lvmama.com in Shanghai at the new Bellagio hotel, owned by the Suning group Shanghai.

Lvmama.com, a Chinese platform for tourism & leisure, was announced as the Official China Travel Partner of FC Internazionale Milano.

Under the agreement, the Chinese platform will be able to develop “Football-tours” dedicated to Chinese fans and tourists, providing them with the possibility to travel to Milan and live the experience of watching a match at the San Siro, La Scala del Calcio.

The sport tourism industry is one of the fastest growing in China, with year-on-year growth rates of around 30%, driven largely by a new generation of football loving fans.

The launch was attended by Michael Gandler, Chief Revenue Officer of FC Internazionale Milano, and Tal Moriah, International Sales Director, together with Li Qiuyan, General Manager of Lvmama‘s Brand & PR department.

“This partnership with LvMama is truly important for us,” said Michael Gandler during the press conference.

“In addition to supporting the development of LvMama’s brand among our passionate Chinese fan base, LvMama will provide reciprocal value by bringing our long distance fans a step closer to the club.”

Inter’s CRO added: “Milan is already a beloved city of Chinese tourists, but by providing access to our matches, facilities and premium experiences, fans from throughout China can have a richer experience with our city.”

Li Qiuyan, representatives of Lvmama, said: “FC Internazionale Milano is one of the most important football clubs in the world and one of the most cherished here in China, this is a fundamental step for our internationalization strategy.

“For us it is a great honour to work together with Inter and we will strive to take the best out of this partnership.”
