Digital sports network Pitchero has become Official Digital Media Partner for the Vanarama National League, the fifth and sixth tiers in English football, in a deal that will last until at least 2019.

The partnership makes Pitchero the largest digital network in English football, supporting 123 of the 276 official league clubs across England’s top eight tiers.

The two-year deal, with an option to extend for a further third year, commenced on 3rd July 2017, and includes the National League, National League North and National League South.

The National League will be the highest tier of football Pitchero currently support in England, and with Tiers 5-8 on board, now has one of the strongest networks in the sport from grassroots clubs to professional football.

Mark Fletcher, Pitchero CEO, commented: “Pitchero has always been devoted to improving the fan experience, giving National League clubs the very best platform to communicate with their fans.

“Alongside National League, we can provide the tools to ensure a premium service to an even larger team database, ensuring a stand-out digital experience from club owners, players and our all-important fans, too.”

Brian Barwick, National League chairman, said: “Fans come first, and Pitchero is devoted to providing a best in class service that brings our fans closer to the game like never before.

“We’re delighted to work with Pitchero in delivering this step up in service together, which will provide such a positive experience for fans and clubs alike.”

Ahead of the new season, Pitchero’s National League web service will be completely overhauled to enhance the quality and regularity of news for fans.
