Nottingham Forest To Launch New Digital Services

Nottingham Forest are set to launch a new digital service for supporters, including a new official club website, mobile app and streaming service.

After extensive consultation and a tender process, the club will be working alongside Urban Zoo and StreamAMG to provide a leading digital offering to its fans of all ages.

The new official club website and mobile app will launch on Thursday, with the streaming service – Forest TV – making its debut for The Reds’ trip to Cardiff City on Good Friday (kick off 3pm).

These three new digital services will replace those currently provided by the EFL and supporters currently subscribed to iFollow will shortly receive details from EFL Digital concerning the migration to Forest TV.

As part of a wider digital transformation, the club are also launching a new “single-sign-on” process across the club’s website, app, Forest TV, ticketing and retail platforms to provide a smoother experience for all supporters.

David Cook, Forest’s Chief Commercial Officer, said of the transition: “Enhancing the digital experience for supporters has been an important part of our commercial strategy over the last few years. After bedding in new ticketing and e-commerce technology, it was critical for us to develop a new website, app and streaming solution.

“We will continue to enhance these new platforms over the summer to further strengthen our relationships with fans. The new single-sign-on feature will also allow fans to sync their web, ticketing and retail accounts to make it much easier to interact with the club.”

Chris Grannell, CEO of Urban Zoo, added: “We are delighted to work with Nottingham Forest on the launch of their new website and app. The club has stated their desire to work strongly with the fans to improve their digital interactions and join a list of growing clubs such as Celtic, Fulham, Everton, Sheffield United, Aston Villa and Wigan Athletic.”
