Paris Saint-Germain Appoints Victoriano Melero As Chief Executive Officer

Paris Saint-Germain has appointed of Victoriano Melero as Chief Executive Officer who will focus on driving innovation, performance and excellence, both on and off the field.

 

 

With over thirty years of experience working with clubs, federations, leagues, sponsors, investors and athletes, Victoriano Melero has been appointed by the President of Paris Saint-Germain, Nasser Al-Khelaïfi, to further establish the club at the pinnacle of global sports franchises.

 

As Chief Executive Officer, he will continue to mobilise all of Paris Saint-Germain driving forces on several priority projects: infrastructure development, innovation, revenue diversification, reinforcing strategic partnerships, strengthening ties between Paris Saint-Germain and its stakeholders, and the brand’s global influence.

 

These initiatives are part of a vision of excellence and sustainable growth, while guaranteeing sound financial management and respecting the club’s social and environmental commitments.

 

This change in the club’s governance reaffirms Paris Saint-Germain’s determination to invest in its sporting and economic fundamentals over the long-term and with consistency.

 

Having joined the club in 2017 as General Secretary, Victoriano Melero has been part of the management team under Nasser al-Khelaïfi that has contributed to the success of Paris Saint-Germain.

 

Since January 2023, as Acting General Manager, he has been involved in the growth of commercial activities, while ensuring the development of sports performance with the launch of the Poissy Campus and, within it, the Cité Educative. In December 2023, he played an active role in Arctos Partners investment into the club’s capital, which made Paris Saint-Germain one of the most highly valued sports clubs in the world.
