Scunthorpe United partners with DiscountIF to offer fan focused online promotions.

Today, Scunthorpe United has agreed a partnership with DiscountIF to launch rewards based online promotions for their fans.


They are part of a growing number of football clubs from Retail & Sports Systems client base to announcing their partnership. DiscountIF’s software enables football clubs to create promotions whereby fans buy merchandise, with the opportunity of winning a reward based on the fan’s opinion of an upcoming game.


Scunthorpe United will shortly launch promotions powered by DiscountIF’s award winning promotional tool. “At Scunthorpe United we’re looking to expand our reach of online activities for the club. Partnering with DiscountIF is a good step forward for us to achieve further growth” said Rob Noble, Head of Marketing, Ticketing and Retail at Scunthorpe United.


Retail & Sports Systems, which supplies a fully integrated retail solution for more than 20 sports clubs in the UK, have integrated DiscountIF across their entire platform last week. “We’ve been impressed by the ease of implementation of DiscountIF so far, with the software activation taking less than one hour.
