The Imps feature highly on the Fan Engagement Index every year, which rates each professional club in the top four divisions of English football, measuring them on their relationship with supporters.

“We are delighted to sponsor Lincoln City FC,” said Solgari’s Chief Commercial Officer Paul Mason.

“We have seen first-hand how sports teams across the world can build a fan experience that befits the excitement and drama on the field of play. Lincoln City understand this – which is exactly why they consistently rank so highly for engagement with supporters.”

The Fan Engagement Index, released annually by Fan Insights, rates clubs on dialogue, governance and transparency.

Mason added: “The criteria for the Fan Engagement Index align perfectly with how the modern sports club needs to treat its supporters. It requires transparency, inclusivity and agility, which fits with the values we have as a technology business.”

Working with organisations across the world, the Solgari application turns communication and collaboration tools, such as Microsoft Teams and Dynamics 365 into an AI-powered, omnichannel contact centre.

Its customers include AMB Sports & Entertainment, which operates the Mercedes Benz stadium, one of the world’s most iconic venues in Atlanta, Georgia, home to the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons, as well as Major League Soccer’s Atlanta United.

Lincoln City’s chief growth and innovation officer Jason Futers, said: “We’re delighted to partner with Solgari – a company that’s genuinely pushing the boundaries of AI. It’s a natural fit, and we’re looking forward to working together to explore how their technology can support our own innovation, both on and off the pitch.”
