Sportbiz Europe To Showcase Top-Tier Conference Panels
SPORTBIZ EUROPE, the prominent sports business conference, is making steady progress in assembling a conference panel of international relevance.
The event, which is held each year in Barcelona, has confirmed the presence of speakers such as Lucas Bugter (4-3-3), Pedro Caffa (FIFA), Esteban González (FIBA), Esteve Rodríguez (Sevilla), and Fabien Moles (Danone), completing a program that already featured speakers from organisations like Google, NBA, Bundesliga, and AFA.
Over the course of four days, the event will be packed with exciting conferences where the main industry trends will be discussed, and how these mentioned entities are applying innovation and technology to their respective business strategies.
On Wednesday, the 9th, the event will kick off with the roundtable “Shaping the future of sports: insights from industry experts on the path forward”, where Euroleague Basketball, Atos, APEX, and Fanatics will provide key insights into the future of the industry.
Later, entities like FIFA, FIBA and One Football will reveal the fundamental aspects of their respective digital strategies.
Another highlighted conference will be led by Populous, an architectural firm specialising in the design of sports facilities such as Wembley and Yankee Stadium.
The presentation will focus on how to increase stadium revenue through fan experience and will be titled ‘Enhancing your fan experience – driving revenue through experiential venue design, enhanced fan experience and brand activation’.
That same day, Sharon Fuller, Director of Content and Social Media for the NBA in Europe and the Middle East, will highlight the importance of content in creating a bond with fans, and Dan Ginger, Brand Director of Newcastle, will discuss the revolution the club is undergoing to relaunch its brand.
On the third day, the football industry will take centre stage. We will discover the Bundesliga’s strategy for connecting with younger audiences, Google will present the importance of cybersecurity for the future of sports, and finally, four football clubs (Sevilla, Juventus, Celta, and Sporting de Lisboa) will share innovative ideas and strategies to adapt to the future of sports.
The congress will conclude with a final day featuring a visit to FC Barcelona’s interactive museum, the facilities of The Venue at the Olympic Ring of Montjuic, and finally, to Plaza del Mar, where the fan zone for the America’s Cup is set up.
