Sports Business Awards 2024 Winners Announced

The winners of the 2024 Sports Business Awards were announced on Friday 29 November showcasing outstanding achievement across many sporting endeavours.

Notable winners included Harlequins who were awarded the title of “Club of the Year” as well as the PDC who won the “Event of the Year” for the Paddy Power World Darts Championship.

Daley Thompson was in attendance to accept an award for his documentary “Daley” along with the Mob Film Company.

Sporting organisations from the UK and beyond joined sponsors, partners, community schemes and businesses to celebrate exceptional work across 22 categories at a lunchtime ceremony at Old Billingsgate in London.

The Sports Business Awards recognise and reward the vital influence of business within sport, celebrating the organisations, teams and individuals who excel in their roles.

Attended by 670 prominent sports industry executives, the awards are acknowledged as one of the sporting industry’s foremost accolades and a highlight of the sports business calendar.

They attract hundreds of entries every year from both the business units within sporting organisations and those professional services and businesses dedicated to supporting them.

Rory Ross Russell, Founder of the Sports Business Awards, said: “For the past 8 years this event has celebrated sporting success achieved by the behind-the-scenes teams.

“This is the chance for all businesses who work to support sporting endeavour as well as the commercial teams and the community foundations, to have their much-deserved turn in the spotlight.”
